The City of Reykjavík
Reykjavík Bear is a proud recipient of the City of Reykjavík Community Grant, in the “Culture” category, for the year 2026.
The City of Reykjavík provides grants to NGOs, businesses, and individuals for activities, projects, and events consistent with Reykjavík’s strategic objectives, focus, and priorities.
Samtökin’78: the National LGBTQI+ Association of Iceland.
Reykjavík Bear, through its organizer Bangsafélagið, is an affiliate of Samtökin’78. Since day 1 of our event, Samtökin’78 has provided us with institutional and logistical assistance.

Center Hotels group
Center Hotels provides guests of Reykjavík Bear with discounts and offers for hotels stays. In 2026, for the first time, Center Hotels Plaza becomes the official host hotel for Reykjavík Bear.
Alfred’s apartments and studios
A support of our festival for years, queer-owned business Alfred’s apartments provides our travelling bears with cozy and stylish accommodation at a discounted rate.
Omnom chocolates
Omnom makes sure our goodie bags contain a delicious tasty chocolate treat, and has graciously donated prizes for our charity events throughout the year.
