31 year-old Bear from North Iceland.

Hailing from Mývatnssveit, North Iceland, Karl Óskar proudly describes himself as “bearish” and believes in the power of a positive, welcoming community. His goal is to represent the Icelandic Bear community with confidence, warmth, and inclusivity.

Outside the Bear scene, Karl Óskar has dedicated himself to strongman competitions and is especially proud of the progress he has made through strength training. He’s also active in the UK pup community, giving him a broad perspective on queer communities and chosen family.

Confident, strong, and always ready with a good story (including one involving olive oil in an unexpected situation), Karl Óskar is always up to use his strength (moral & physical) to lift up those around him.

32 years old bear living in Reykjavík.

Ormur is a proud transgender bear with deep roots in Icelandic culture and a passion for building a more inclusive community. Originally from Ísafjörður and now living in Reykjavík, he combines a love of Icelandic heritage with a commitment to advocacy and equality.

Having worked for years supporting disabled people, Ormur is now studying disability advocacy at the University of Iceland, driven by a desire to create lasting change. If crowned Mr. Reykjavík Bear, he hopes to highlight the welcoming spirit of Iceland’s Bear community while showing that body positivity and inclusion must embrace transgender and non-binary people as well. He believes the warmth of the Icelandic Bear community is something worth sharing with the world.

Proud of his wonderfully hairy chest, fascinated by languages, and with a talent for accidentally ending up in Norwegian parades, Ormur brings kindness, humor, and authenticity wherever he goes.

46 years old cub living in Reykjavík.

Returning in 2026, Snorri brings the same warm heart and welcoming spirit that have made him a beloved member of the community. He describes himself as a playful, caring “care-bear”; young at heart, a little clumsy like a panda, and always ready to make others smile!

Snorri knows firsthand what it feels like to struggle with belonging, and finding the Bear community helped him embrace himself. That experience inspires his desire to help others feel seen, accepted, and at home, regardless of where they are on their journey. If selected as Mr. Reykjavík Bear, he wants to champion inclusion across the entire LGBTQIA+ spectrum, reminding everyone that our differences make us stronger together.

Proud of his resilience and the way he has continued helping others through life’s challenges, Snorri brings compassion, optimism, and a genuine belief that everyone deserves to belong.
