Reykjavik Bear is opperated by Bangsafélagið, Icelandic ID. 571219-0500. Address: Suðurgata 3, 101 Reykjavík.
Reykjavik Bear is an event for men and male presenting trans and non-binary people.
All tickets, passes and merchandise will be available for pick-up when you check-in at the welcome desk during the opening party. If you arrive later, please let us know and we will keep your pass for when you arrive.
All personal information given by our guests is stored securely and will never be shared with third party websites.
These terms and conditions are subject to Icelandic commerce laws number 96/1992, 50/2000 and 48/2003.
Payments & prices
Although prices may be shown in different currencies the price for any purchase is fixed in Icelandic Króna (ISK).
Rates listed on the website are per person or per item, unless otherwise specified. We accepts all major cards as specified by myPOS.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel your booking email gjaldkeri@reykjavikbear.is at the first opportunity. A 10% cancellation fee is charged if cancelled before August 15th. No refund is offered if cancellation occurs after August 15th.
Please note that Reykjavik Bear and Bangsafélagið are not travel agents or in any way licensed as such. Bangsafélagið is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating spaces for bears and their friends and admirers. All parties, events and trips are operated by professional venues and tour operators who are responsible for the smooth operation of their respective event and the safety of our guests.
Liability
Reykjavik Bear and Bangsafélagið acts in good faith and cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, accidents, sickness or schedule changes caused by weather or road conditions, force majeure such as natural catastrophes, strikes or any other irregularities beyond the control of Reykjavik Bear.
Luggage is at the owner’s risk throughout the tour. We therefore advise all guests to have insurance cover.
All information on Reykjavik Bear is subject to change and we reserve the right to correct any mistakes that may appear on our website. These general booking conditions are subject to change and we reserve the right to update these conditions without notice.
We reserve the right to change our typical itineraries at any time and at our discretion. We will endeavour to avoid this and if this is necessary, we will try to substitute alternative arrangements.
Your appointed tour guide may need to make a decision in the interests of safety. It is a condition of bookings that you comply with the authority and decisions of the appointed representative of Reykjavik Bear or tour operators. If you do not comply with the said representative and are not compatible with the general enjoyment and well being of members of the tour, we reserve the right to refuse to allow you to continue the tour. In such a case we will not be liable for any refund, compensation or any additional costs incurred by you. We cannot accept liability for the behaviours of others on your tour nor if any facilities are curtailed as a result of their actions.
It is your responsibility to meet your tour at arranged points and times. Reykjavik Bear will endeavour to ensure that departure times are met.
Governing law / Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and any disputes in connection with them shall be exclusively governed by Icelandic law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be Reykjavik, Iceland.
