What to expect
Join us for a full-day tour of Iceland’s most iconic natural sights. A classical but unforgettable part of the Reykjavík Bear experience!
We’ll depart from Bus Stop #1 at City Hall at 09:00 sharp. From there, we head north to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site where you’ll see the rift between the European and North American tectonic plates; and stand on the site of the world’s first democratic parliament!
Next, we travel inland to the geothermal area of Geysir, the namesake of all geysers. While the original Geysir erupts rarely, Strokkur, just nearby, puts on a show every few minutes with powerful bursts of hot water.
From there, we visit the breathtaking Gullfoss, or “Golden Waterfall,” one of the most impressive waterfalls in Iceland.
To round off the day, we stop at Friðheimar, a tomato greenhouse and restaurant where we’ll enjoy a fresh, locally sourced meal.
We expect to return to Reykjavík by around 17:00 – right on time to get ready for our Top-Off! Party!
